Apache Tomcat
A servlet container that implements the Java Servlet and the JavaServer Pages (JSP) specifications from Sun Microsystems, and provides a "pure Java" HTTP web server environment.

Openbravo
A web-based, open source ERP business solution for small and medium sized companies. Currently Openbravo is not usable as-is in Germany and needs localization and further adaptation to tax regulations and legislation. headissue is coordinating the localization efforts.

Postgresql
Our preferred database system. It is said that "the elephant never forgets". We can confirm: in our deployments this has been true for 10 years now!

Jahia WCMS
An Open Source Web Content Integration Software that combines Enterprise Web Content Management with Document Management and portal features. Jahia and headissue partnered in 2007 to deliver an intergrated solution for heavy load enterprise portal applications.

Linux
Our preferred operating system. Our veterans have been using (and hacking) Linux since 1993.

Java Platform
An object-oriented programming language and platform targeted towards enterprise applications. Our choice for mission-critical, high volume (web) applications.
